Akrapovič first introduced titanium into their motorcycle exhausts in 1997 and over that time have evolved their own exclusive titanium alloy which is designed specifically for exhaust use.

Akrapovič Titanium Alloy is three times stronger and more heat resistant than any other titanium product on the market, whilst being 40% lighter than stainless steel as well as boasting naturally anti-corrosive properties.

The Product Features in Brief:

Akrapovič systems are available in 3 component levels and a choice of materials. Typically, our exhausts are available as:

Tailpipes only - in carbon fibre or our proprietary titanium
Slip-On system (silencers and tailpipes in stainless steel or titanium)
Evolution system - complete system comprising link pipes, silencers and tailpipes (includes manifold on some Porsche models)

Also available with many systems is a Wireless Valve Kit to alter the sound from the driver's seat.

Founded in Slovenia 20 years ago, by former motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovič, the brand has grown to international prominence through the successful support of leading racing teams. To date, 63 world champions have achieved their success with Akrapovič exhaust systems. The company operates from state-of-the-art factories in Slovenia, employing 500 people and distributing its products in more than 60 countries.

When installing an aftermarket Akrapovič exhaust system with sports catalysts, which are developed for use on closed tracks, we recommend remapping the ECU in order to prevent potential “engine check light” warning signals.

TÜV Homologation is a global bench mark for standardising the recognition of high quality parts whilst adhering to local law. With regards to Exhaust Systems, as well as the quality of R&D and build, the sound is also scrutinised, so when you see our ‘Slip-On’ systems mentioned as ‘Homologated’ this will also mean that the sound level has to be near enough a ‘stock’ db level.
