Evolution system

The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system for Z06 was optimized in many ways to meet the requirements of our engineers. Without performing any alterations to the headers and cats, the exhaust system delivers additional power of 13,7 HP and additional torque of 28,4, from mid- to high rpm. The throttle response is much sharper now, which improves agility, as does the weight reduction of 15,3, respectively. However, the most significant change is the sound, which makes everyone's wishes come true. Lovers of the pure V8 race engine sound must have an Akrapovic Evolution system. It will transport them directly to the racetrack. An optional remote controlled Exhaust valve system is also a must have. Choice of tailpipes as above.

Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe / Spider: EC-approved Slip On System

To further add to the excitement of this car Akrapovič has designed a completely new aftermarket muffler system crafted entirely of titanium. Incorporating dual mode exhaust valves, our triple exit system allows for a subdued sound at low rpm (though crisper than stock). However, at higher rpm it fully unleashes the incredible sound of the F1-inspired, high-revving V8. Also included is a new carbon fibre/titanium exhaust tail pipe set. Subtle and understated, the new tail pipe set makes it clear that this is not a standard car. Additionally, we offer optional, lightweight, high-flow catalyst/link pipes. Used in conjunction with the muffler system the sound is even more aggressive, similar to the 458 Challenge Car.
On a car of this design, weight savings are incredibly difficult to achieve. Remarkably, we were able to shave 8 kilograms from the stock system. If both the muffler system and high-flow catalyst are utilized an amazing reduction of 14 kilograms is accomplished! These weight savings, coupled with the added power and enhanced sound our system offers, makes a marvellous car truly unforgettable.

Two variations of systems are available for the C 63 AMG. They are made entirely from our proprietary titanium alloy. The first is our Slip-On muffler system. The Slip-On kit replaces the stock mufflers from the axle back. Stepping up to our Evolution system, we include the mufflers from the Slip-On kit and then add a lightweight link pipe assembly that incorporates integrated resonators. Both systems feature our unique exhaust tips. The bezels for these tips are cast in our foundry from an exclusive blend of titanium. They will give your vehicle a distinctive look, setting it apart from the rest of the crowd.

At almost 1.8 tons, Nissan´s GT-R is one of the heaviest sports cars. So an appropriate diet is very important to increasing its performance. Just the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system, which is an entry level procedure in GT-R´s tuning, makes an 8,42 kilogram difference, which is almost half that of the stock system. Our engineers improved the weight to power ratio by adding more power. With an Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system, the GT-R has 8,1 HP more (at 6.260 rpm) and 11,6 Nm more (at 2.140 rpm), power was particularly improved at highest revs – from 5.000 rpm on, where the stock system cannot compete with the capabilities of the Slip-On. The combination of lowering the weight and increasing the power makes the 4-wheel drive GT-R more agile and faster. The first is our Slip-On (axle back) system.  A finely crafted replacement muffler system, it installs easily using the original mounting points. The Slip-On system is 1kg lighter than stock, increases power by 5bhp and comes with a choice of titanium (Ti) or carbon-fibre (CF) tailpipes.
